WELCOME TO THE GF TRIBE!!
We are so excited you are here!

Ground Force Studios is not just a place to learn to dance. It’s a hub of passion and a community of likeminded individuals. We take pride in our classes and what we teach, instilling motivation, a love for dance, confidence, creativity and gratitude.

The Company was founded in 2015 by Liana & Jess, both highly educated women in Child Care, Primary & Secondary School settings teaching children through to adults the performing arts curriculum and syllabus.
They began teaching their ‘In-School programs’ to schools across Adelaide in 2015 and now teach at over 20 schools. They first began their studio classes after school and on weekends in 2017 with only 20 students. Since then, they have created a force to be reckoned with, providing creative, fresh and awe- inspiring classes for everyone.

The GF Team look forward to dancing with you!

LIANA BARLETTA
Founder and creative director

Liana has been dancing since the tender age of 3 and has trained in a wide variety of styles including jazz, tap, contemporary, ballet, calisthenics, and hip hop.

Her love for dance goes waaaaaay back and stems from watching a tonne of music videos as a kid from popular artists – especially Michael Jackson! These amazing influences have inspired her to create her own style, bringing this passion and excitement to all her classes. Her energy is contagious!

JESSICA BLEFARI
Founder and creative director

From a young age dance has always been Jess’ greatest passion. She began Callisthenics at the age of 3 and then went on to learn Ballet, Jazz and Tap, competing in competitions, CSTD exams and playing roles in Musicals. Jess loved to perform, often giving up other childhood sports activities to focus on what she loved.

Jess currently dances as a professional Samba dancer, part of the ‘Las Chicas Bomba’ Pro-dance team for La Bomba. She has competed in many competitions placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Adelaide and interstate, and takes part in the Adelaide Fringe every year.
